Sat at home last evening wondering where to go for a meal, a knock on the door where we saw 2 of the maintenance guys from our apartment block.

One is going to visit his family today after 2 years away from them, and he did not have any warm clothes for his two children. They had been told about ‘Maam’ who made clothes for charity and refugee children, could she help him.

After quite a unique conversation with the one English speaking man, Karen got some material and a pattern and started work. The photos are of the results. I have so much admiration for what Karen does, and especially for what you have done today, but also for the work you do for rags to riches.
