Every year on 28 May, the world comes together to shine a spotlight on menstrual health and hygiene — and this year’s Menstrual Hygiene Day carries a powerful message: “Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld.”
It’s a call for collective action — to ensure that menstruation never stands in the way of education, opportunity, dignity, or well-being. At Sew Bee-Cause, this mission is close to our hearts.
From our grassroots beginnings to our growing network of volunteers across the UAE and beyond, we believe that menstrual health is not just a health issue — it’s a human right.
Why It Matters
In too many communities, girls miss school, feel ashamed, or face real health risks simply because they don’t have access to safe and sustainable period care. That’s where our Angel Wings® reusable sanitary pads come in — handmade with love, designed for dignity, and made to last.
