Buzzing with Purpose: A Hands-On Day at Thrift for Good

We had a fabulously productive day at the beautiful Thrift for Good Sustainability Hub in Dubai, where our Sew Bee-Cause Team gathered for one last Angel Wings©️ meet-up before the summer break.

We were thrilled to welcome four new members into the hive — and what a team they turned out to be! Under the expert guidance of our long-standing volunteers, our new Bees quickly found their rhythm. In no time, they were confidently cutting fabric, sewing Angel Wings©️ and crossbody bags, attaching snap fasteners, and even crocheting soap savers.

We also created plenty of “take-and-make” kits for those who’d like to contribute from home — a wonderful way to keep the buzz going all summer long.

Though this was our final Dubai meet-up for the season, our mission continues! If you’re interested in learning more or getting involved, we’d love to hear from you.
